So hello from the other side of the world! We finally made it here and we are finally getting to blog! We had to buy a 3 month service to be able to blog through China's filters. Thanks to our new friends in our group the Godfrey's - always helps to have a computer guru around!
So there you go...
One thing we know for sure is it is HOT here! It is in the 80's but it is not like our 80"s in the south. I think it is magnified by a hundred degrees. Another thing is that not every building has air condition so we have sweat alot!

This was longest day we have ever had in our lives! We started out at the Birmingham airport this morning at 4:45am then land in Chicago O'Hare airport about 8:30am and then had what what was suppose to be a 4 hour layover and turned into 8 hours. (2 of which was sitting on the plane waiting to leave).
After finally getting in the air for what seemed like a million hours, I woke up just in time to hear the pilot inform us that China had closed some airspace to launch there rocket into space so we circled Beijing and landed there to refuel! Which was another 2 hours of sitting on the plane. So what should have been an 16 hour flight took about 22, good times!!
It was Friday morning when we started and it was Sunday morning when we finally got to our hotel in Hong Kong.
