Sunday we leave Hong Kong and head for Guangzhou!

Our adoption agency gave us the train number to take before we ever left the US.  We were both so glad that it was the 1:10pm train since we got in so late.

This is a shot of the train station and all the cab drivers dropping off and picking up their fares.  Let me just say that a cab ride is an experience all in itself! Wow!

It was really good to see a familiar place! Although they did not have biscuits, only egg mcmuffins??? What don't they know we are from the south and we need our biscuits?  Their menu is very small, it had maybe 8 items on it, and one of them was a beef stew type soup.

It's not the normal breakfast stuff over here in China, it is anything goes!

We are in front of a candy store inside the train station.

Random cigarette billboard as we wait to board our train.  Just thought it was neat.

A couple of random shots of Hong Kong as we are leaving the city.  It is a beautiful city and very "Americanized" for tourist, so a lot of people speak english as well.

There is lots of construction going on here in Hong Kong and also Guangzhou as well.  They put these massive drapes down the full length of the buildings to conceal the architecture.

Random gardens and rice fields next to the train tracks. They plant where ever they can around here.
