Please be kind and rewind...

A request that was strategically placed on every VHS movie video that most people either ignore or simply didn't have time to rewind it before the return date. Thank the Lord for progress!

So, We are rewinding it back to the dating days when we were several lbs lighter and had a little bit more hair on our heads!

You might have called it a blind date. We had never even spoken to each other until one hot summer day in June of 88.  Thanks to the encouragement of Kevin's brother Keith, he called me up to see if I would go to the Steven Curtis Chapman concert with him on Friday night.  Of course I said yes!

I think we talked non-stop the whole night or at least as much as we could in between songs.  I knew then that we would be together the rest of our lives.  From that moment on Steven Curtis Chapman has not only been one of our most favorite christian artist but his story holds such a special place in our hearts.

A New Addition...

Mao Zhong Bing, is a beautiful little boy currently living in Maoming City, China.  God is blessing us with the opportunity to adopt him.  I guess somewhere deep inside I knew he was gonna be ours from the first time I saw his face on the computer screen.  His new name will be Graham Chapman Hall.
It is a crazy story but it really doesn't start here but years ago, so the next few posts will be a "rewind" if you will.  There are just too many cool things that have happened that bring us here to this point!

Romans  5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into his grace in which we stand.

A blog name...

"I'll have a steak, medium-rare with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy"

 So there you go...

In high school I (Tracy) was on the girls basketball team. Being that basketball is such an aggressive sport we all had our moments when we would totally spaz out falling all over ourselves. Usually when that happens one of us would yell out "grace"! I definitely had my share of being "grace" for the day, somedays you just gotta laugh at yourself and keep on going. However, I think its His grace that gives us the ability to stand when you really feel like curling up in corner for while. So yes!   I will have "Life with a Side of Grace"!
